Facilities
Our private facilities are open and available to our Members year-round. We are the only sailing club on the lake that is active and hosting social events throughout the entire year.
Clubhouse
Our spacious clubhouse provides the comforts of home away from home. The large kitchen is where we often gather, share meals, and enjoy each other’s company. Fully equipped including double appliances it is worthy of a gourmet meal. Bring all the food you need for the day, then prepare your family’s favorite dinner after a day spent on the water. The cozy living room with a wood-burning fire place is often the gathering space during the off-season months; and is also where membership meetings are held. Women's and men’s locker rooms equipped with changing rooms, showers and lockers are available for your convenience. Last but not least, there’s no better place to enjoy the evening than on our covered porch – with the prime view of the lake… that never gets old.
Ramp & Gin Pole
PCC offers the deepest ramp on the lake. Universal trailer extensions are available for those low water-level months. A work dock is conveniently located right next to the launch ramp, making your launching maneuvers easier with a place for a quick tie up. A gin pole is also available on the premises, should you choose to drop your mast for any spring/fall maintenance needs.
Docks
Besides our mooring field, several options are available for docking your boat. All boats up to 18ft can be kept at our clubhouse dock, conveniently located just steps away from the clubhouse. All larger boats, up to 27ft, can be docked at our new permanent docks. Constructed in 2015 and expanded in 2017, these docks offer comfort and convenience for loading and offloading and a quick access to your boat at any time. The camaraderie of friendly dock neighbors to cast or catch your lines is what the sailing world is all about.
Storage
Summer trailer storage as well as winter boat storage is available on our property. Members are responsible for the maintenance of their assigned spots.
Swim Beach and Playground
After a couple hours’ sail, little crew members often need to stretch their sea legs. Our 2.85 acre beautiful, waterfront park-like setting offers plenty of running ground. The recently renovated playground is often the go-to place straight off the boat. Our littlest members spend their land time climbing, swinging, balancing, digging, running and chasing various wildlife around the property. The roped off swim area is great for a quick cool off swim. There is no lifeguard on duty, so parents are responsible for keeping an eye the little ones. If you still haven’t had enough and feel adventurous, try a kayak or a SUP in the quiet and protected bay. You may just spot a jumping fish or a family of turtles sunning themselves on the water’s edge!
Fire Pit
Our large fire pit is a great addition to our outdoor living space. You will often step off the boat to find a crackling fire waiting for you. Aside from the great social gathering spot, the fire will keep you warm on the cool evenings and add a wonderful ambiance to what might have been just a regular Saturday night. Bring on your s’mores and enjoy the evening on our colorful new Adirondack chairs.
